A summary to help you read. The legal terms below are what apply.
Keep it in writing
Trust what you read. Keep it in writing.
We’re legally bound by these terms, and you’ll have them in writing: your own numbered copy, the same terms from our official address, and a check for any copy we issue.
Your own copy
A PDF of these terms with its own copy number, recorded by us and locked against editing: the version that binds us both.
Your copy and the email ask for a one-time WhatsApp check. Checking a copy needs nothing.

About these terms
In short
Skillcept Online is run by Algorythm Ceptx Edutech Private Limited (CIN U85499DL2024PTC437522, GSTIN 07ABBCA4830H1ZX). These terms cover using this website and joining the program. The Pay After Placement Agreement, which you sign after passing the competency test, covers the fee after you’re hired.
The legal terms
- 1.1
Who we are. These terms are an agreement between you and Algorythm Ceptx Edutech Private Limited, a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013, which runs Skillcept Online (“Skillcept Online”, “we”, “us”, “our”). “You” means anyone who uses the website or registers for the program.
- 1.2
Accepting these terms. By using skillcept.online, registering or paying, you accept these terms and the documents listed in section 15 (together, “the terms”). At checkout you tick a box to confirm you have read them; that is a valid electronic agreement under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or register.
- 1.3
Which document applies. Where a more specific document covers a subject, that document applies: the Pay After Placement Agreement to the fee after placement and the ₹0 promise, the Refund policy to refunds, the Billing policy to payments and the Privacy policy to personal data. The “In plain words” summaries on these pages help you read; the legal terms are what apply.
- 1.4
If you registered earlier. If you registered before this version was published, the terms you accepted continue to apply to you. Where this version is more favourable to you on any point, that point applies to you too (16.1).
- 1.5
Our history. Skillcept Online was founded in Bengaluru in 2019 as a sole proprietorship and has been run by Algorythm Ceptx Edutech Private Limited since 2024. Learners who joined before that move continue under the terms they accepted, and the company honours them.
Who can join
In short
Anyone aged 18 to 55 who has passed Class 12 (or an equivalent) can join. There’s no CGPA cut-off and no degree filter. You register with your full name, WhatsApp number and email, which also make your free account; it becomes your learner account on the date in your confirmation email (Billing policy 9.1).
The legal terms
- 2.1
Your details. You give your real name and your own WhatsApp number and email, and keep them up to date. A registration is personal to you: it cannot be transferred, shared or resold.
- 2.2
Who can register. To register, you must be at least 18 and no older than 55 on the day you register, and have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination. We may ask for proof of your age and of Class 12 at any time before your placement support starts. If you don’t meet these conditions, we cancel your registration and refund what you paid, in full.
- 2.3
When we may decline. We may decline or cancel a registration, and refund everything paid in full, if the details given are false, the payment was not authorised or is reversed, or the law requires it.
- 2.4
What you need. The program is taught online, in English. You can watch lessons on a phone, but you need a computer (a laptop or desktop) for practice, assignments, projects and the competency test, and an internet connection good enough for video and coding. The Learning platform lists what it supports. Problems with your own device or connection do not extend any deadline.
The plans
| Plan | How you learn | Curriculum | Minimum salary assured |
|---|---|---|---|
| Go | Self-paced, from the day your account opens | 6 core modules and Module 7 (Modern AI) | ₹6 LPA |
| Plus | Self-paced, from the day your account opens | Go, plus Module 8 (GenAI and LLMs) | ₹9 LPA or your salary + 35%, whichever is higher |
| Infinity | Live, Saturday and Sunday 11 AM to 2 PM IST, at most 75 learners a batch | Go, plus Modules 8 to 10 (the AI Engineer Stack) | ₹12 LPA or your salary + 85%, whichever is higher |
In short
Every plan is the same Job Guarantee Program, with a 12-month window to complete. Module 7 and the AI Engineer Stack come after the competency test and are not part of completing the program (6.1). The full comparison is on the Pricing page.
The legal terms
- 3.1
What your plan includes. Your plan includes what the Pricing page showed when you paid, as confirmed in the email we send you before you pay. We keep a copy with your registration.
- 3.2
Keeping the course current. We may update, reorder or replace lessons, tools, projects and platforms, as long as your plan still covers at least the same skills at the same level. We never remove a headline feature from a learner who has paid: the modules listed, the interviews assured, the minimum salary assured or the ₹0 promise.
- 3.3
Minimum salary assured. The minimum salary assured is the lowest fixed annual pay a job must offer to count as a qualifying job on your plan (7.1 and Pay After Placement Agreement 2.3). It is not a promise that any employer will offer you a job or a salary. A job below it never starts the fee after placement (after a qualifying job ends, Pay After Placement Agreement 8.2 says which jobs restart the payments).
- 3.4
Infinity batches and the waitlist. Infinity batches start on the dates shown when you register, with at most 75 learners each. Enrolment for a batch closes at 11:59 PM IST the night before it starts, or when its seats are taken. If we cancel your batch or move its start by more than 60 days, you choose: join the next batch, or receive your whole registration back. When no batch is open, or a batch is full, you can join the waitlist on WhatsApp; joining it costs nothing and does not hold a price or a seat.
- 3.5
No plan changes after registering. The plan you choose when you register cannot be upgraded or changed afterwards.
- 3.6
Go and Plus content. The video lessons of the 6 core modules on Go and Plus are licensed to us by content partners, and the same videos may also be available elsewhere. Your registration pays for access to them on the Learning platform, together with everything Skillcept Online adds around them: doubt support, assignments and projects, the competency test, our certificate, the exam vouchers, placement support and the ₹0 promise. Modules 7 to 10, and Infinity’s live classes and their recordings, are our own and available only on Skillcept Online.
- 3.7
Access to the course. Your access to your plan’s core modules lasts for life, for as long as we offer the program, and on Infinity it includes future updates to them.
Prices and the limited-time offer
In short
Registration prices include 18% GST, which comes back with your registration; nothing is added at checkout. The full prices are listed in the Billing policy. A limited-time offer price, when one is running, lasts until 11:59 PM IST on the day of your first visit (or the next night, if you first arrive after 10:30 PM), and then full prices apply. Your price is confirmed on our server at checkout, and the program terms never change with the offer.
The legal terms
- 4.1
The price you pay. The price you pay is the one our server confirms when your payment is created, shown, with the GST it includes, in the checkout summary before you pay. If an offer ends while a payment you started is completing, we honour the offer price for 15 minutes.
- 4.2
One offer window, and coupons. Each person gets one limited-time offer window per campaign, held as the Privacy policy describes. A missed offer comes back only with a later campaign, at least 7 days after yours ended. Once you register, your phone number keeps its window and it is not renewed. A coupon we send after an offer ends is personal: it works once, only for the WhatsApp number it was sent to, for 24 hours, and has no cash value. Offers and coupons cannot be combined, transferred or exchanged.
- 4.3
Fair use of offers. Using more than one identity, number or device to get more offers or coupons is not allowed. If a registration was made that way, we tell you in writing, and within 7 days you choose: pay the difference to the full price, or take a full refund and the registration is cancelled. If you don’t choose, we refund it and cancel it.
- 4.4
Pricing mistakes. If a price was shown by an obvious mistake (for example, a wrong digit), we tell you before your program starts, and you choose to pay the correct price or receive a full refund.
- 4.5
Future prices. We may change prices and offers for future registrations at any time. A change never affects what you have paid or agreed to pay.
- 4.6
Real deadlines only. Every countdown on the website shows a real deadline. When your offer price ends, it ends: it is never reset to create urgency. Seats shown for an Infinity batch are real seats taken by paid registrations.
- 4.7
Referring a friend. Once you have registered, you can share your own referral link from the Learning platform. If a friend opens it and registers within 30 days, and their registration is paid in full (both instalments, if they pay in two), you earn ₹1,000, or ₹2,000 if they register for Infinity, paid by UPI to your own UPI ID 30 days after their registration is paid in full. There is no limit on how many friends you refer. No reward is paid for registering yourself or someone who had already registered, or if the friend’s registration is cancelled or refunded under 2.2, 2.3 or 4.3, or reversed by a payment dispute. Your friend pays their own price: a referral never changes a price, an offer or a coupon, and it never reduces anyone’s registration refund (Refund policy 2.1). Any tax the law requires on a reward is deducted as the law requires. We may withhold a reward earned against these rules (4.3).
- 4.8
After you register. Once a registration is paid, at any price, we don’t show that phone number, or the browser it was paid from, any limited-time offer or coupon again, and any further registration is at the full price.
- 4.9
Offers by plan. An offer can cover some plans and not others on a given day. A plan that isn’t on offer is at its full price that day, and no offer countdown or saving is shown for it.
Paying
In short
You pay your registration today by UPI, card or netbanking through Razorpay, or by an international card through Stripe. Plus and Infinity can also be paid by card EMI, and at checkout Infinity’s registration can be paid in 2 parts by UPI AutoPay, with no extra charge. After you’re hired, the fee is 9 monthly UPI AutoPay payments from your first salary month, with no tax added; or, if you choose, you pay it all upfront for less, instead of a registration. There’s no loan, no lender and no finance company. The details are in the Billing policy.
The legal terms
- 5.1
Payment providers. Payments are processed by Razorpay (in India) and Stripe (international cards), under their own terms. We never receive or store your card details or UPI PIN. Card EMI is offered by your bank, which may charge interest under its own terms; up to 6 months on eligible bank cards it’s No Cost EMI (Billing policy 5.4).
- 5.2
Only through us. You pay only through the checkout on skillcept.online, a UPI AutoPay mandate set up through our payment provider, or a payment link we send you from it. No member of our team, agent or anyone else may collect money from you in any other way, such as a personal UPI ID, bank account or phone number. If anyone asks you to, do not pay, and tell us.
- 5.3
The second registration instalment. Where you pay your Infinity registration in 2 parts (Billing policy 5.1), the second is due 30 days after the first, or earlier if you choose. If it is still unpaid 7 days after its due date, after the payment provider’s retries and a reminder from us, your program is suspended. If you pay it within the next 30 days, the suspension ends and your registration stays refundable when you complete. If it is still unpaid after those 30 days, your registration ends and the amount paid is not refunded (Billing policy 7.1).
- 5.4
If a payment looks wrong. Please tell us first (section 16); we check it within 7 working days. If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute instead, we may pause your access while it is open. If it is resolved in your favour, the paused time is added to your completion window. This does not affect your rights.
- 5.5
UPI AutoPay mandates. When you set up a UPI AutoPay mandate, your UPI app or bank notifies you before each debit as the Reserve Bank of India’s rules require, and you can see or cancel the mandate in your UPI app. Cancelling a mandate does not cancel a payment that is due.
- 5.6
Instalments and paying upfront. Paying your Infinity registration in 2 parts costs nothing more than paying it in full (Billing policy 5.1), and both parts come back with your registration. Instead of a registration, you may pay the whole program fee upfront, in one payment, at a lower price; it counts as all 9 payments, and comes back in full only if you complete the program and aren’t placed; it isn’t refunded in any other case, except as Refund policy 6.3 and 6.5 provide (Billing policy 6.3, Refund policy 5.2).
Completing the program
In short
Completing the program means: complete the 6 core modules and 5 capstone projects within the 15-day capstone period, pass the competency test and sign the agreement within 30 days. On Infinity, also attend at least 75% of your batch’s live classes for the core modules. Every lesson counts only in full: no skipping, even what you already know, and on Go and Plus, videos at normal (1x) speed. Assignments and module projects are optional practice; the 5 capstones you submit are required. When you complete, your registration comes back with its GST within 15 working days of signing. If you don’t sign, you keep the core modules and owe nothing after placement, but the registration isn’t refunded.
Once you finish the 6 core modules and we’ve checked that nothing was skipped, we give you a test date within 15 working days. The competency test is live on Google Meet with a Skillcept Online assessor, with your camera and screen sharing on, alone in a quiet room and without headphones or earphones. It has three rounds: Theory (15 questions), Semi-Theory (15) and Practical (3). You pass with at least 11 right in Theory and in Semi-Theory, and at least 1 in Practical. If you don’t pass Theory, the test ends there. It’s the easiest round: yes-or-no questions, terms to define, and 3 or 4 questions on what a short piece of Python code prints. If you pass it but not Semi-Theory or Practical, you retake all three rounds, as many times as you need within your completion window. For the Practical round, as for the capstone projects, you get a step-by-step guide: you complete it on your computer and send us the output.
The legal terms
- 6.1
Completing, and your completion window. Completing the program means all of these: (a) completing every lesson of the 6 core modules on the Learning platform, without skipping any part (even a topic you already know) and, on Go and Plus, watching the video lessons at no more than normal (1x) speed (the modules’ assignments and projects are optional practice and don’t count towards completing); (b) completing 5 capstone projects within the 15-day capstone period (6.7); (c) on Infinity only, attending at least 75% of your batch’s live classes for the core modules (6.6); (d) passing the competency test (6.3); and (e) signing the Pay After Placement Agreement within 30 days of passing, as the last step. Your completion window, for (a) to (d), is 12 months from the date of your registration payment, or the date your account opens if that is later (if you pay in 2 instalments, the date of the first; on Infinity, your batch’s start date if that is later). It is extended by: any Pause & Play time on Infinity (6.5); any time the Learning platform is unavailable through our fault for more than 7 days in a row (10.3); time lost to an event beyond our control (14.4); any time your access was paused for a payment dispute resolved in your favour (5.4); any extension we grant for serious illness or a similar situation (Refund policy 4.3); any delay in your sign-in details on our side (Billing policy 9.2); and, if the test date we give you falls after the window ends, until that date (6.3). If you complete (b) or (c) after passing the test, the 30 days in (e) run from that day.
- 6.2
Your own work. A module counts only when you have genuinely done it yourself. Progress made by skipping, by watching faster than 6.1 allows, by automated tools or by another person does not count. If we find such progress, we tell you in writing what we found, and you can reply within 7 days. If it is confirmed: the first time, all your progress is reset and your access is suspended for 30 days, and your completion window is not extended; the second time, your access ends permanently, as a serious breach (section 13).
- 6.3
The competency test.
- (a)When you have completed all 6 core modules, we review your progress to confirm that nothing was skipped (6.1). Once you pass the review, we give you a test date within 15 working days. You take the test live on Google Meet with a Skillcept Online assessor.
- (b)It has three rounds, taken in order: Theory (15 questions), Semi-Theory (15 questions) and Practical (3 questions). Theory has yes-or-no questions, terms to define, and 3 or 4 questions on what a short piece of Python code prints.
- (c)You pass with at least 11 of 15 right in Theory, at least 11 of 15 in Semi-Theory and at least 1 of 3 in Practical.
- (d)If you don’t pass Theory, the test can’t be passed, the program can’t be completed and 6.4 applies, except as (j) allows. If you pass Theory but not Semi-Theory or Practical, you retake the whole test, all three rounds in order, on a new date, as many times as you need within your completion window.
- (e)Your answers must be your own: no help from another person, and no AI tools or other material, except the guide in (g) and anything the assessor allows. An attempt that breaks this fails; doing it again after a warning is a serious breach (section 13).
- (f)The rounds, numbers of questions and pass marks in force on the date of your registration payment are the ones that apply to you.
- (g)For the Practical round, as for the capstone projects (6.7), we give you a step-by-step guide (a “cheat sheet”) that sets out the whole process. You complete it on your own computer and give us the output.
- (h)During the test, your camera and screen sharing stay on throughout, and you take it in a quiet place, alone in the room, without headphones or earphones. If these conditions aren’t met, the assessor may stop the attempt and give you a new date.
- (i)Every round is recorded. If you disagree with a result, you may ask our grievance officer to review the recording (16.2).
- (j)As an exception, if you get more than half the Theory questions right (8 or more of 15) but don’t pass, we may give you one more attempt at Theory, on a new date within your completion window. It is the last attempt.
- 6.4
If you don’t complete in time. If you don’t complete within your completion window, you keep access to the core modules for as long as your plan’s lifetime access allows, but the refund, the features that unlock after completing and the ₹0 promise do not apply.
- 6.5
Pause & Play (Infinity). On Infinity you may pause once, for up to 12 months, while you are doing the 6 core modules, by asking us in writing. You then rejoin a later live batch at the point that matches your progress. It cannot be used once the core modules are complete.
- 6.6
Live-class attendance (Infinity). On Infinity you attend at least 75% of your batch’s scheduled live classes for the 6 core modules, as our attendance records show. The live classes for Module 7 and the AI Engineer Stack come after the competency test and do not count towards it. A make-up session we approve counts as attended, and an absence we excuse in writing does not count against you. Classes during Pause & Play are not counted; after you rejoin, your new batch’s classes are.
- 6.7
Capstone projects. On every plan you complete 5 capstone projects within a 15-day capstone period, chosen from your plan’s capstone library: 5 projects on Go (so all five), 10 on Plus and 25 on Infinity. You may build the others in your library too, as practice; only the 5 you submit count towards completing. For each one we give you a step-by-step guide (a “cheat sheet”) that sets out the whole process: you complete it on your own computer and submit the output. On Go and Plus, the period starts on the day you begin your capstones on the Learning platform; on Infinity, it runs on the dates we set for your batch and tell you in writing. A project counts once it is submitted within the period and meets its published rubric; we may ask for corrections against the rubric, our originality standard and its technical requirements. If you don’t complete 5 in the period, you may start one more 15-day period within your completion window (on Infinity, on dates we set).
- 6.8
A job accepted before you sign. If, after your registration payment and before you sign the agreement, you accept a job that meets the conditions of a qualifying job (full-time, in data science, analytics, AI/ML, BI or software with data work, at or above your minimum salary assured), tell us within 7 days. That job never makes the program fee payable, and your registration is not refunded; if you paid the program fee upfront instead, it is kept as Pay After Placement Agreement 3.5 says. You can still complete the program and sign, and placement support is available, once you complete, for a later job. A job you already had before registering does not affect your refund.
Placement and the ₹0 promise
In short
A qualifying job is a full-time job in data science, analytics, AI/ML, BI or software with data work, at or above your minimum salary assured, measured on fixed annual pay. It counts whether we arranged it or you found it, anywhere in India, remote or abroad. Complete the program and don’t accept a qualifying job within 12 months of signing (or don’t join it within 90 days after, if it starts later), and you pay ₹0 more. Join only a job you like: you can turn down as many offers as you like, without penalty, and if you lose a job, payments pause until your next job in data science, analytics, AI/ML, BI or software with data work, or any full-time job at or above your minimum salary assured. How it works is on Pay after placement.
The legal terms
- 7.1
Where the details are. Placement support, the qualifying job, the fee after placement and the ₹0 promise are set out in full in, and governed by, the Pay After Placement Agreement.
- 7.2
What we do, and what employers decide. We help you get hired: interviews, preparation and introductions. Employers make every hiring decision. We do not promise that any employer will interview or hire you, or any particular role or salary. Our promise is this: complete the program and if you are not placed in a qualifying job within the placement period, you pay nothing after placement.
- 7.3
What our words mean. “Job Guarantee Program” and “minimum salary assured” on the website mean exactly what this section and the agreement say, and nothing more. See Legal notices.
- 7.4
Results we publish. Placement figures we publish come from our records on file. Past results don’t guarantee future outcomes. Learner stories appear only with the learner’s written consent, and we keep proof of each job on file.
What unlocks after completing
In short
Once you complete, the career features of your plan unlock: interviews assured (30 on Go, 100 on Plus, unlimited until you’re hired on Infinity), mock interviews, resume, LinkedIn and GitHub help, a career counsellor, career support and, on Infinity, 3 paid 30-day internships with multinational partners and the extras.
The legal terms
- 8.1
When they start, and how long they last. These features become available once you complete (6.1) and last for the time each plan states: career support until your first qualifying job on Go, within the placement period (Pay After Placement Agreement 2.6); 1 year on Plus; and on Infinity, until your first qualifying job and then for 5 years from the day you join it (5-Year Career Security & Upgrade, 8.4). During Career Security (Plus and Infinity) you may ask for career guidance, a resume refresh, mock interviews, and help finding a new role after losing a job or changing careers. It does not promise continuous employment or income, and nothing is payable for it.
- 8.2
Interviews assured. We arrange your plan’s interviews only after you complete (6.1), during the placement period (Pay After Placement Agreement 2.6). An interview counts when an employer schedules one for a role in your field, whether or not you attend. You may decline up to 50 arranged interviews without affecting placement support; a declined interview still counts. Skipping more than 50 without a good reason counts as refusing placement support (Pay After Placement Agreement 11.1). “Unlimited” on Infinity means there is no fixed number: we keep arranging interviews until you join a qualifying job, during the placement period (Pay After Placement Agreement 2.6), as long as you keep to the agreement. We do not promise a particular employer, role, city, work mode or date.
- 8.3
Paid internships (Infinity). On Infinity you get 3 paid internships after you complete. Each runs for 30 days, together with Skillcept Online and a partner company (a multinational), which issues your internship certificate and a signed letter of recommendation (LOR) when you complete the internship. Internship work happens only during your live-class hours (Saturday and Sunday, 11 AM to 2 PM IST), so it fits around a job. Each internship pays a stipend of at least ₹7,500. If a partner withdraws for a reason that isn’t yours, we arrange a replacement within a reasonable time. Leaving or turning down an internship without a good reason, or being removed for misconduct, counts as one of your 3. An internship is not a qualifying job, and its stipend never makes the program fee payable.
- 8.4
Career Upgrade (Infinity). On Infinity, Career Security comes with Career Upgrade: once in each of the 5 years from the day you join your first qualifying job (8.1), you may ask us to help you move to a better-paid role for your growth, with interviews arranged for higher-paying roles in your field, mock interviews, a resume refresh and help negotiating the offer. It costs nothing extra, and no fee is payable to us on any later job. We do not promise a new job, a particular salary, employer or date, and the after-placement fee for your first qualifying job is unchanged (Pay After Placement Agreement, section 4).
Certificates and exam vouchers
In short
Every plan includes the Skillcept Online verified program certificate. Your plan also pays for exam vouchers: 1 on Go (Microsoft PL-300), 3 on Plus (Microsoft PL-300, AI-901 and AI-103) and 10 on Infinity (Microsoft, NVIDIA, Databricks, AWS and Google Cloud), and we help you prepare to clear every one. You take each exam with its provider, under the provider’s rules. Exams priced in US dollars are converted at booking.
The legal terms
- 9.1
Our certificate. We issue the Skillcept Online certificate when you complete. It carries an ID that anyone can check on Verify a certificate. It certifies that you completed our program; it is not a university degree or a government qualification.
- 9.2
Exam vouchers. A voucher covers one attempt at the exam fee. We issue your vouchers once you complete the program (6.1), and each is valid for the provider’s period (usually 12 months from issue). It has no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded.
- 9.3
The providers’ exams. Each exam, its result and the certification are the provider’s, under its rules. If a provider retires or replaces an exam, we give you a voucher for the nearest replacement or for an exam of similar value. Each provider issues and verifies its own credential: Microsoft on Microsoft Learn; AWS, Google Cloud and NVIDIA on Credly; Databricks at credentials.databricks.com. Certificate pictures on the website are samples. Skillcept Online is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft, NVIDIA, Databricks, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud.
- 9.4
Help to clear the exams. We help you prepare to clear every certification exam your plan’s vouchers cover, through the curriculum, practice and guidance from our team. The result of each exam is the provider’s (9.3).
- 9.5
Values and logos on the website. The value shown for each certification is the provider’s exam fee; fees set in US dollars are shown in rupees at an approximate rate, and the rupee amount is fixed when the voucher is booked. The providers’ names and logos identify who issues each certification and belong to them.
Your account and the Learning platform
In short
You can create a free account at any time to explore the Learning platform; it becomes your learner account on the date in your confirmation email (Billing policy 9.1). You sign in with your email and a password, a one-time code sent to your email or WhatsApp, or your Google, LinkedIn or Facebook account. Lessons, tests and your certificate are on the Learning platform we give you access to.
The legal terms
- 10.1
Your account. We create a free account when you first sign in with a new email or WhatsApp number, or, if you don’t have one, when your registration payment succeeds (10.6); it becomes your learner account on the date in the confirmation email we send then (Billing policy 9.1). You sign in with a one-time code sent to the email or WhatsApp number on your account, with your email and a password if you have set one, or, where Sign in offers it, with your Google, LinkedIn or Facebook account. Keep your password, phone and email secure, and tell us at once if you think someone else has signed in; you are responsible for activity on your account until you tell us.
- 10.2
One account, one learner. An account is for one learner only. Sharing it, or letting someone else study, take tests or complete projects for you, is a serious breach (section 13).
- 10.3
When the platform is unavailable. We aim to keep the website and the Learning platform available, with brief breaks for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If the Learning platform is unavailable through our fault for more than 7 days in a row, your completion window is extended by the same time.
- 10.4
Watching a class. You can watch a recorded Infinity class on this website without signing up or creating an account. It costs nothing and does not hold a price or a seat.
- 10.5
The Learning platform. “Learning platform” means the online platform we give you access to for lessons, tests and certificates: grow.skillcept.online if you registered on or before 15 October 2026, and our new learner Hub, hub.skillcept.online, if you registered after. You stay on the platform you joined; learners on grow.skillcept.online are not moved to the Hub.
- 10.6
Free accounts. A free account lets you explore the Learning platform before you register: your plan and your offer, the program’s structure and syllabus, a recorded class, and Prism, our AI assistant. Lessons, projects, the competency test, groups, placement support and every other feature of a plan open only when you register; lessons licensed from content partners are for registered learners only (3.6). A free account costs nothing, never commits you to register or pay, and holds no price or seat beyond your offer deadline (4.2). We don’t call you because you have one, and we message you only as the Privacy policy allows. You can delete it at any time from your profile, or by writing to us (section 16).
Course content and your work
In short
The course is for your own learning. The projects you build are yours to show employers.
The legal terms
- 11.1
Our content. All course content (videos, notes, code, projects, tests, the datasets we create, and the website itself) belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. While your access lasts, you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning.
- 11.2
No copying or sharing. You may not copy, record, download (except where the Learning platform allows it), share, sell, publish or upload course content, live classes or tests, or use them to build a competing course or to train an AI model. Doing so is a serious breach (section 13) and may also lead to legal action.
- 11.3
Your work. Your work (your project code and write-ups) is yours, and you may show it in your portfolio, on GitHub and in interviews. Starter code and datasets we provide stay ours under the licence in 11.1. You allow us to review, grade and store your work to run the program, and to show it as an example only with your written consent.
- 11.4
Your ideas. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, with no obligation to you.
- 11.5
Live classes. We record every live class and make the recording available to your batch on the Learning platform the same day, so you never need to record anything yourself. We tell you at the start of each class that it is being recorded. You may not record live classes. The recordings are covered by 11.1 and 11.2.
Using the website
In short
Use the website to learn about the program and to register. The placement figures on the site come from our records on file; past results don’t guarantee future outcomes.
The legal terms
- 12.1
Fair use of the website. You may not try to break the website’s security, use bots, scrapers or automated tools that load it more than a person would (search engines indexing public pages are welcome), interfere with how it works, send spam or harmful code, or use it unlawfully.
- 12.2
What binds us. Information on the website is given in good faith as general information. What binds us is these terms, the documents in section 15 and what we confirm to you in writing before you pay.
- 12.3
Other websites. Links to other websites (payment providers, exam providers, employers) are there for convenience; their content and terms are their own.
- 12.4
The AI assistant. Prism, our AI assistant on the website and on WhatsApp, answers questions from our published terms and names the clause it relies on. Its answers are general information to help you understand the terms; they do not change them. If an answer differs from the terms, the terms apply. A person from our team takes over when you ask, from 10 AM to 7 PM IST every day, and can review any answer. Please do not share passwords, one-time codes, card details or government ID numbers in a chat. How chats are kept is in the Privacy policy.
- 12.5
Messages from us. We send you the messages that are part of your program by WhatsApp and email: your terms, payment receipts, refund updates, and program and placement messages. If you start registering and don’t finish, we may also email you up to three reminders about that registration, each with a one-tap way to stop them (Privacy policy 5.6). Other program updates and offers are sent only if you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP. We don’t make sales calls.
- 12.6
Copies of these terms. You can download a PDF of this page and of each policy at any time. Each download carries its own copy number, which we record with the date and the version, so a copy can always be checked against our records. The PDF is locked against editing.
- 12.7
Company and government names and logos. The names and logos of companies and institutions shown with our capstone and industry projects show the real-world problem a project is modelled on, or who published the public data it uses; each project’s cheat sheet names the dataset it uses and that dataset’s licence, and the data need not come from the company named. The Government of India’s name and logo (which includes the State Emblem of India) appear only to show that a project uses the Government of India’s open data, such as data.gov.in and its departments’ published data: the Government of India has not created, sponsored, approved or endorsed these projects or Skillcept Online, and Skillcept Online is not a government body and is not affiliated with one. No company or institution named is affiliated with Skillcept Online or sponsors or endorses it; their names and logos belong to them, and any of them can ask us to remove theirs (see Legal notices).
Suspending or ending access
In short
We suspend or end someone’s access only for a serious reason, and we tell you why in writing first.
The legal terms
- 13.1
Serious breaches. These are serious breaches: cheating in tests or projects, or having someone else do your work (6.2, 6.3, 10.2); copying or sharing course content (11.2); giving false information to get a registration, an offer, a coupon, a refund or a lower fee, or using more than one identity to get offers (4.3); giving false documents about a job or pay; harassing or abusing learners, mentors or our team; misrepresenting your skills, work or qualifications to an employer we introduce you to; and any breach the Pay After Placement Agreement calls serious.
- 13.2
What happens. We tell you in writing what the breach is and, where it can be put right, give you 7 days to do so. If it isn’t put right, or can’t be, we may suspend or end your access and placement support. Your registration is not refunded (if it has already been refunded, we do not ask for it back), and anything already owed under the agreement remains owed. For progress that wasn’t genuinely yours, 6.2 sets out what happens.
- 13.3
If you want to stop. You may stop at any time by telling us in writing. The Refund policy sets out what happens to your registration.
- 13.4
If we stop the program. If we stop offering the program before you could complete it, for reasons that aren’t your fault, we refund your registration in full.
What we’re responsible for
In short
We stand behind what we promise: the program as described, your refund when you complete, and the ₹0 promise.
The legal terms
- 14.1
Care and skill. We provide the program with reasonable skill and care. Beyond these terms and the agreement, and as far as the law allows, we make no other promises, for example that the website or the Learning platform will be free of errors or interruptions.
- 14.2
Limits. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect losses such as loss of income, opportunity or data, and our total liability for any claim about the program is limited to the total amount you have paid us. This limit does not apply to the refund when you complete, to the ₹0 promise, or to any liability the law does not allow us to limit.
- 14.3
If you break these terms. If you break these terms and someone else makes a claim against us because of it (for example, because you shared course content), you will cover our reasonable losses and costs.
- 14.4
Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, government action, or failures of power, the internet or third-party services. If one happens, we tell you, do what we reasonably can, and extend your deadlines by the time lost.
- 14.5
Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.
The other documents
In short
These documents form part of the terms:
- Pay After Placement Agreement: the fee after you’re hired, and the ₹0 promise.
- Refund policy: when your registration comes back.
- Billing policy: prices, GST and every way to pay.
- Privacy policy: your data, cookies and your rights.
- User guidelines: learning, support, placement and fair use.
- Legal notices: the company, trademarks and what our words mean.
Changes, complaints and the law
In short
Tell us first, by email: most things are sorted in one message. If not, our grievance officer answers within the times below, and you keep every right the law gives you.
The legal terms
- 16.1
Changes. We may update these terms; the version and date at the top show the latest. We email registered learners about a change at least 30 days before it applies. A change applies to a registered learner only if it is more favourable to them or they agree to it in writing, and a change to the fees, the refund or the ₹0 promise never applies without that written agreement.
- 16.2
Complaints. Write to support@skillcept.online. If you aren’t satisfied, or at any time, write to our grievance officer (Legal notices), who acknowledges your complaint within 48 hours and resolves it within 15 days of receiving it, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require.
- 16.3
The law. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to 16.4, the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
- 16.4
Consumer forums. Nothing here stops you from approaching a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or any other forum the law gives you.
- 16.5
General. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. If we delay enforcing a right, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over the program, without reducing your rights. Notices to you go to the email or WhatsApp number on your account; notices to us go to support@skillcept.online.
- 16.6
Language. These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version applies.
